Draw a picture with the theme of "courage". Tell the world how you feel about hope for a cure to type 1 diabetes. What would a cure for diabetes mean to you? How would a cure change your life? What are you doing for a cure? How does diabetes affect your life and your family's life?
The image can be in the form of a drawing, painting, or “word painting”.You can draw a picture, write a message with a colorful background, draw a picture and include a written message inside of
it. ONLY MARKERS OR COLORED PENCILS may be used. Please do not use crayon, oil pastels, glue, glitter, sand, yarn or other materials that create texture. All images must be dry and flat before submission so they can be easily scanned.
- Word Paintings should be original work relating to the project theme. Word paintings should be written onto a colorful background and may also include images that are admissible for this project. All word paintings will be reviewed for language and content.
- Artwork must be created on the blank side of the Artwork Entry Form. You can also use any 11" x 8.5" paper (landscape orientation) as long as the participant's information from the form is written on the back.
- You can also write a brief paragraph reflecting on the message and content of what you created. This should be written in pen or pencil on the lines provided on the back of the artwork entry form.
