Million Child Mosaic

The Million Child Mosaic will be the world’s largest mosaic mural ever created in the history of the planet Earth. This international project gives K-12 students around the world a chance to speak out about saving their planet. Students are creating artwork in the form of paintings, word paintings, photographs, and drawings that give them an opportunity to express new ideas and different ways in which they are working to save the Earth and help combat the global climate crisis. Artwork created by students is being collected by Project S.N.A.P.

The MIllion Child Mosaic will be composed of 1 million pieces of artwork. The final mural will be available on the internet and will be fully interactive. The mural will rotate 360 degrees around and allow users to zoom into each individual piece of artwork. Students will also have the opportunity to record an audio message or a video and link it to their tile in the mural. Each piece of artwork will be linked to a larger version that will allow people around the world to see who created it and where they are from.
