JDRF Illinois Mosaic Mural Project 2009
In 2009, JDRF Illinois, Ford Motor Company Fund, and Project S.N.A.P. partnered together to create two giant mosaic murals made out of the drawings of JDRF Illinois children and families and members of the JDRF Illinois community.
The final mosaic murals were unveiled at the annual Chance of a Lifetime Gala and auctioned as a fundraiser for JDRF Illinois.
People living with type 1 diabetes, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, neighbors and friends were invited to participate in the creation of this giant mosaic by creating artwork that made up the "big picture". All participants can look up their artworks and find their location in the giant mosaic using the Project S.N.A.P. Online Art Museum.
Join the many organizations and tens of thousands of families that have already experienced the power of the Project S.N.A.P. Mosaic Mural Program. Contact us today to find out how you can become part of the “big picture”. |
