I drew this picture because I hope peace comes to people with type one diabetes. This picture means a lot to me because it's more than just a picture. My cousin has type one diabetes and it is hard for him to function in regular routines that people have. I felt badly for him and thought it would be okay until I found out he would not be the same and would be stuck with this disease, and I wasn't happy. This changed his life, so it changed mine too. I participated because I believe it is a good cause and puts a smile on their faces.
