Color a World Without Type One Georgia
Thousands of children and families from across Atlanta raising
awareness about the importance of turning "type one into type none"!
This year, Ford Motor Company Fund, Project S.N.A.P., and JDRF Georgia, are partnering together to create a giant mosaic mural out of the drawings of JDRF Georgia children and families, members of the JDRF Georgia community, and students from across the Atlanta metropolitan area. The final 4’x6′ mosaic mural will be donated to JDRF Georgia.
People living with type 1 diabetes, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, neighbors and friends are invited to participate in the creation of this giant mosaic by creating artwork that will make up the “big picture”.
If you create artwork for the mosaic you will be able to visit the Project S.N.A.P. Online Art Museum later this year to see your picture with the exact row and column location.
Take a moment to watch the video on the right to see some of the families who have added their voices to this giant mosaic mural.
