Artist's Statement

I drew a picture of a boy who is imagining that he is exploring the mountains. The picture means to me that you could always explore even in your imagination. Even though diabetes hasn't affected my life, it has affected my grandma's life because she has diabetes. My message to people with diabetes is to never give up and to have hope.
