Artist's Statement

I drew this picture because I want people with diabetes to cheer up. To me, this picture means "go outside and have fun". Diabetes has affected my life, because I have a friend who was diagnosed, and we couldn't play anymore. I participate in Color for a Cure because I want to cheer people up.
