Artist's Statement

I drew this picture because I want to help find a cure. This picture means a lot to me because I have known many people with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. Diabetes has affected my life because my uncle has it and needs to prick his finger, take his medicine, and can only eat certain foods. I participated because I feel bad for those with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.
