Artist's Statement

I drew this picture because I wanted to motivate children with Type 1 Diabetes to keep fighting Diabetes until we find a cure at the top. This picture means to me a path for the cure can be found. I participated in Color for the Cure because I want to show the children with Type 1 Diabetes that there are many people who care about them. My favorite part of this project is that I'm not only drawing for enjoyment, but to help.
