Artist's Statement

I drew a picture of a pole with mountains in the background to show people to explore new places. Also, that there is hope on the other side. Exploring new places can also come out into a positive thing. We could come closer to creating a cure for diabetes. Finding a cure for diabetes is important to me because I know a few people that have a daily struggle having to deal with it. If there was a cure, so many people would be relieved. Drawing this can at least show awareness to those who struggle with diabetes. One day, there will be a cure!
