Artist's Statement

I drew this picture to show three friends exploring for a cure for type 1 diabetes. My picture means that it is important to keep exploring until we find a cure. I feel sad that anyone who has diabetes has to watch what they eat and do that because they just want to be like everyone else. I participated so that everyone will continue to explore for a cure.
