Commemorating Akron Children’s 125th anniversary and
celebrating the opening of the new medical building in 2015.
Your students are invited to participate in the Akron Children’s Hospital Community Mosaic Mural Project. We’ve partnered with Project S.N.A.P. to create a mosaic mural that will commemorate Akron Children’s 125th anniversary and celebrate the opening of our new medical building in 2015.
Your students’ artwork will join thousands of pieces created by our patients, community members and supporters. Their pictures will be transformed into an individual tile that will help create a larger, 8 by 20 foot mural. Once complete, the mural will greet patients and their families as they enter the hospital.
Once the mural is complete in October 2015, your students will be able to find their artwork and its exact location in the Project S.N.A.P. Online Art Museum!
