Community-wide initiative celebrating Akron Children's Hospital
125th Anniversary and the opening of the new Kay Jewelers Pavilion
Akron Children’s Hospital has partnered with Project S.N.A.P. on a large scale community engagement program that will result in the creation of a giant mosaic mural commemorating the hospital’s 125th anniversary. Once complete, the mosaic will be on display in the new state-of-the-art Kay Jewelers Pavilion.
Members of the Akron community are invited to leave a legacy by creating artwork for this large scale mosaic mural. Every person who creates an artwork will be able to find their artwork and exact location in the Project S.N.A.P. Online Art Museum once the mosaic mural is completed.
Members of the community who make a gift to Akron Children’s Hosptial to help complete the expansion will also have a unique recognition opportunity on a tile in the mosaic mural.
